This has been a sobering week. And I'm not the person to look to for tirades about gun control and school security and the mental health care system or whatever. Because I don't believe it's that simple. And yet...it is simple. People, especially young people...especially struggling young people...need what every other person needs. Only they need more of it. And they need it to be personal, genuine, and human. This is one of my favorite christmas duets ever (even though it's as cheesy as 1977 television could make it). Maybe because it's such an unlikely duo and maybe because these are two of my all time favorite male voices. In any case, merry christmas, and peace on earth. Stop fretting about what to put under the tree. It doesn't really matter.
I loved that! First of all, I have never seen Bing Crosby old. Weird I know, but I always just picture him young like in Holiday inn so it was kind of a shock. 2nd, I love the that song. One of my Christmas favs. They sang it beautifully. Thanks for sharing.
